hey friends,
hope you’re well. going nowhere (slowly) came out last thursday, so in case you haven’t listened yet, it would mean a lot if you do. a good song for a dreamy sunday walk. speaking of walking, look what i saw on my latest lap of the amstel park:
as dedicated followers of my ramblings i’m sure you’ll recognize this notorious bird. it appears he has made some new friends: a llama (or alpaca?) and a goat, how cute. i initially felt lucky that i got to capture this touching moment on camera, like a national geographic photographer who finally gets a shot of the last siberian tiger on earth. but then i looked closer and i started to question what was really going on here. as i’ve said before, this is a very cunning, sly little ducky. and we all know putin loves a good candid shot of him riding his horsey as much as kim jong un likes to visit his local orphanage in casual sunday wear. it’s all calculated propaganda to try to trick us common folk.
though i can’t prove it right now, i wouldn’t be surprised at all if this clever bird saw me enter the park, flew over to the farm area (he knows i like a good stroll around the farm), and plopped down in front of the bucket where the llama and the goat had been enjoying a nice drink together. he tries to make it look natural, but if you look closely you can see the confusion on the llama’s face and the fear in the goat’s eyes. no way he’s getting any closer to this tyrannical bundle of feathers. so nice try duck, but consider me not-fooled.
remember to look critically at the world around you, a lot of things aren’t as they seem……………
