love makes you hold onto things we shouldn’t, but who are ne to arrow harry better?

i’m sitting in the airport waiting to board the plane to go back home, going through photos from my holiday and came across this beautiful quote on a pillow in one of the hotels we stayed in.
there’s so much to unpack here: i always believed the opposite, surely love makes you hold onto things that you should hold on to, right? i thought that was one of the oldest universal truths in the book… whoever wrote this thinks otherwise. so now i’m starting to question myself, and i haven’t even gotten to the second half of the quote yet. maybe we were wrong all along and love brings us more pain than happiness? it gets worse; this unknown philosopher throws me even deeper into the existential pit by asking “who are ne to arrow harry better?” what?? now i’m questioning myself questioning myself. and who the hell is harry?? and is he sick? and if so, how do we ‘arrow’ him better???
this is all a bit much to take in at a qatari airport on 2 hours of sleep and a very grim tasting cube-omelette for breakfast. i’ll check back in when i’m a more lucid state.
Man puts bird in a cage, bird wants to FLY, if one loves the bird it needs to freed.
I care for my goldfishes, but I do not love them so I do not mind to hold them in a fish tank.
