cheerio,
i’m currently on the plane back from bristol to amsterdam after having spent the last week in england opening for and playing with victoria canal. needless to say it was a lot of fun. also very warm. vic has very sweet fans who all came early and sat down and listened and clapped. then during her set they sang along and cried and laughed. one even cried for practically the full hour, he was really going through it. i told victoria she could start adding therapy fees to her ticket prices, or at least the overtime for the janitor drying the floor after every show. all jokes aside, it was beautiful to see how much a song can mean to people and help them get through the days.
i got special temporary tattoos made to hand out after the shows. of the 200 there’s only a handful or so left, so now i’ve got walking adverts all over england, which is pretty neat. they look like this:
my brain is not working at full capacity so i am having trouble producing more words. but as they say, ‘a picture is a 1000 words’, so by that logic i leave you with a thousand more words to think about:
even without those 1000 words in picture, you have said what needed to be heard, thanks very much and congrats on the past tour!
